From Easter to Pentecost: A Journey of Promise

A 50-day faith journey from Easter to Pentecost, moving daily in obedience and discipline

The Movement Challenge

The Promise to Power 50  is a virtual, Christian-based movement challenge where you walk or run 1 mile or kilometer per day for 50 days. The distance option is up to you. The challenge officially begins on Easter Sunday (April 5) when we celebrate the fulfillment of God’s promise of salvation and eternal life through the death and resurrection of Jesus. It ends on Pentecost Sunday (May 24) when the Holy Spirit descended in power to give birth to the Church. If you’re not able to walk or run, you can do 20 minutes of dedicated exercise.

The goal is to cover 50 miles or 50k in 50 days. How you do it is up to you. You can break up your daily challenge into multiple sessions within one day. For example you can do a half mile in the morning and the other half mile in the evening. You can also do multiple miles on some days and none on others.

A Journey With Jesus

There is a lot more to the challenge than just physical movement. Each day, we’ll share a passage of scripture with the words of Jesus that help us journey with Him during the challenge and throughout our lives. Each passage will be accompanied by a brief discussion to help us align our lives with His priorities. There will also be a daily challenge to live out our faith by serving, sharing, caring, and praying for others. You don’t have to do the challenge that day. It’s optional. But think about how you might be able to incorporate it into your life.

What You Get

We have two registration options. Both options include a booklet with a way to track your daily progress in addition to the daily scriptures and challenges. There are also Promise to Power stickers, a bookmark, and access to the Promise to Power 2026 Facebook group.

The Medal Package includes all of the above plus a medal.

In addition to the registration packages, you can purchase separately a T-shirt, hoodie, or ballcap with the Promise to Power logo.

We have designed our packages to make Promise to Power affordable for more people.
